Kaapkloof Manor Rental

Full property description

Kaap Kloof Manor is situated in Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s most popular destinations for holiday visitors. An award winning indigenous garden of more than 4000m2 situated at the back of the 12 Apostles mountain range surrounds this picturesque property. The breathtaking unobstructed sea view on top of the Victorskloof area and the private atmosphere of the premises guaranty you an oasis of peace and tranquility.

This luxurious villa is the perfect place to spend your holidays. The high thatched roof gives the house a special touch of the “Out of Africa” atmosphere, whilst the natural building materials, like gum tree beams, travertine stone, earth colors and a tasteful interior design complete the feeling of harmony.

The names given to the different private suites are Passion of Zulu, Moods of Lemba, Spirit of Ndebele as well as Dreams of Lobedu. These four suites consist of generous space, light colors, noble pieces of furniture and unique sights of the region and its surroundings. All of the suites are furnished comfortably and all offer a separate entrance to the balcony, garden as well as to the terrace.

The villa centres around the double volume dining area ( with open plan kitchen) which opens onto the front terrace, garden and pool

Area description

Hout Bay is a popular coastal suburb of Cape Town and a small town and working harbour located in a stunningly beautiful wooded valley about 20-30 minutes drive from central Cape Town, along the dramatic coast road via Camps Bay, itself only a 15 minute drive from Hout Bay.

It is surrounded by steep mountains to all sides apart from the south, where a long sandy beach meets the Southern Atlantic ocean. Aside from the main coast road from Camps Bay, the only other routes out of Hout Bay are the windy road via Constantia Nek, conveniently leading to the excellent wine farms and restaurants of Constantia just 15 minutes away or via the legendary Chapmans Peak Drive, a stunning coastal toll road precariously carved out of the mountain side and surely one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world.

Hout Bay is loved not just for its breath-taking scenery but also for the relaxed family orientated lifestyle it offers, with a wide range of restaurants, shops and attractions including boat trips to see the seals at nearby Duiker Island as well as boasting the largest bird park in Africa, World of Birds, with over 3000 species.
