Somehow it's just so much more relaxing with your own "family home from home" where there is so much more private space than in a hotel for everyone to enjoy exactly as you want to, where meal times are so much more flexible than a hotel, where the pool is all yours (or at least your kids!) and where you can relax at the end of each day with a glass of wine or barbequing by your pool knowing the children are tucked up in bed close by, not far away in a hotel room.
And best of all, a family villa holiday is great value for money too, compared with the alternative for families involving several rooms in a hotel or guesthouse.
